Hey Girls,

The weekend is coming up so why not pamper your self with a DIY Manicure/ Pedicure at home. These steps and tools are simple and can be used for both mani or pedi so the choice is totally yours.

Tools Required :

Nail Polish Remover

Cotton Pads

Warm to Hot Water

Hand Liquid / Shower Gel

Nail Clipper

Nail file

Cuticle Pusher

Cuticle Nipper

Nail Buffer

Cuticle Serum/ Olive Oil or Almond Oil

Exfoliator / Hand or Body Scrub

Hand Lotion

Base Coat

Nail Polish

Top Coat

Step 1

Remove all your nail polish if you have and then file your nails as per your liking. If you want the cut your nails go ahead, I just prefer filing mine.

Step 2

Then I like to soak my fingers in a nice Hot water bowl, not too hot girls. Add in your favourite shower gel or any hand liquid gel. Soak for about 15 to 20 mins

Step 3

Pat your hands dry and then take your cuticle pusher and gently push and clean your cuticle and nails. (Now if you want to cut your cuticles you can do so, however I prefer not to cut mine, but make sure to be as gentle as possible)

Step 4

Take your cuticle serum or olive/ almond oil and massage your cuticle for a good 5 to 10 mins.

Step 6

Once the serum or oil has dried up, take your exfoliator (hand scrub or body scrub) and nicely give your hands and fingers a good scrub. This will help is taking off the dead skin or any roughness.

Step 7

Wash off the scrub and towel dry your hands, then take your hand lotion and give your fingers a good massage.

Step 8

Your nails are not ready for your base coat and nail polish application of your choice.

Hope this post was as helpful and informative to you all, why spend extra when you can do this at home on your own.
