MAC Brush Cleanser: YAY or Nay!

Hey Everyone !

So recently I have started using the MAC Brush Cleanser and it’s amazing, so I just wanted to do a quick review on it. Just in case any one of you looking for a great cleanser for your brushes, then this one is perfect.

About the Product:

Website claims – This one product will clean, disinfect and condition brush fibres so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high-quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean, and helps shorten their drying time.

My take on it:

It cleans & disinfects really well, i mainly use it to spot clean all of my eye and concealer brushes. I did try to deep clean my bigger brushes, but i ended up using alot of product. But its perfect for spot cleaning your brushes and a little product will help you go a long way. Just a tip dilute it with water, so that you can use this one bottle for as long as possible and it still does the same job.

I know MAC is hard on our pockets, so yea feel free to dilute it with water so that you get more solution to work with and still the results are the same. You can use it to deep clean as well, but i prefer to use it to spot clean most of my brushes.

All in all its a great product, I do not know if it extends the life of the brushes. I guess in time i would know.

Do let me know which is your favourite brush cleanser and also if you have tried this one, then what is your best way to use this product.

Do comment in the box below, I love getting feed backs and suggestions.

I find using antibacterial soap works just as well and every so often I deep clean my brushes using a bit of baby oil! That conditions the brushes & gets every bit of makeup off 😄xx
